George Molnar

 

George Molnar was born in Nagyvarad, Hungary, in 1910, and arrived in Australia in 1939. He taught architecture at the universities of Sydney and New South Wales. As well as publishing books such as Statues, he drew cartoons for several decades for the Daily Telegraph and the Sydney Morning Herald. There will be a major retrospective of his work curated next April through the Museum of Sydney.
